A few years ago I got a project going called Radio:Alarm. We were a 3 piece hip hop band (Drum, Bass, VOX). In its original formation, Radio:Alarm performed a few local shows and created some solid songs. The project came to a halt when my two partners had to move back to Louisiana. I recently fired this project back up in a whole new light. It's now looking a lot more like what I originally envisioned from the beginning. It's already exceeded my expectations! We are a 7 piece funky, jazzy, reggae, hip hop, soul band! The band consists of an all star local lineup of 2 guitar players, sax, trombone, verbal percussionist, MC, & a DJ/Producer. This line-up is unlike any band combination you've likely ever seen. Radio:Alarm is a combination of the soulful, classic feel of hip hop and a new future sound, enhanced with some of today's top technology. The band is on the cutting edge of where music is going while at the same time integrating a meaningful classic feel. We just released a sneak peak video which you can find under my videos on the Reverb Nation page (Saxophone Rap). We are currently writing our debut album & practicing so we can begin performing for live audiences.
